The slideshow was easy in the end Ben. For some reason when the language option on your picassa settings is set to 'English (UK)' you don't get the 'embed slideshow' link. To solve the problem, go to 'Settings' and change the language setting to 'English (United States)'. (Bastards...!) £25 - done it.
